Phoenix

Meh, who says Phoenixes HAVE to be some fiery falcon? lol. Here's my Phoenix, some what of a killer, fiery chicken with vulture hocks (poultry term, means feathered legs. ^^), a hoatzin's (a type of bird that looks down right weird. lol) crest, and an eagle's beak. lol. So, this is my entry for ~kalamu's contest called: Fur and Floof... or was it Floof and Fur... maybe it was Floof 'n Feathers... or... aw whatever. I can't remember. ^^ lol. Yesh. This lil' bugger was sketched in pencil, traced and detailed in some quick drying pen, and finally colored with Prismacolor Pens. When I scanned it in though he became REALLY bright. The original isn't as bright. But oh well. Hope you like!
